Measurements

NECK

Place the tape measure at the middle of the neck, 3cm above the pit and nape of the neck. Measure around and leave one finger allowance. For a normal fit collar, add 2cm. For a loose fitting collar, add 2.5-3cm.

SHOULDERS

The measurement is taken from the customers left “shoulder point” across the nape and then to the right shoulder point then plus 1CM.
To locate “Shoulder Point”: Starting from the neck shoulder point and move along the shoulder line to the shoulder end. (If the shoulder is extremely wide or narrow, you can adjust accordingly). Mark the two shoulder points. These two points will be used to measure the shoulder and front shoulder.
Please note: If the customers bicep is extremely large, the shoulder point should be in line with the widest part of the bicep.

CHEST

Measure around the fullest part of the chest with two fingers allowance. Make sure the tape is not too tight.

WAIST

Measure around the top of the waistband, leaving two fingers allowance. You can adjust the measurement slightly per the customers request. Most customers prefer the measurement to be slightly tighter.

STOMACH

Measure around the narrowest part of the customers back, leaving two fingers allowance. Make sure the tape is parallel all the way around and isn't too tight.

HIP

Measure around the fullest part of hip leaving two fingers allowance. Make sure the tape is not too tight.

THIGH

Measure around the thigh at the widest point leaving two fingers allowance. Make sure the tape is not too tight.

U-RISE

Take the measurement from the top of the waistband at the center back seam down along the front rise across the crotch, then up to the top of the waistband at the center front seam. (U-Rise = Front Rise + Back Rise). Make sure that the tape is not tight or slack and fits the customer comfortably.

BICEP

Take the measurement around the fullest part of the upper bicep leaving one finger allowance.

WRIST

Measure around the wrist.

SLEEVE

Measure from shoulder point down to the base of the thumb (starting point where the wrist meets the palm).

FRONT SHOULDER

Measure from the customers right shoulder point, across the collarbone, to the left shoulder point, then add 1cm.

LENGTH OF BACK JACKET

Measure from the nape of the neck vertically down to the bottom of the hip. You can adjust accordingly per the customers request.

PANT LENGTH

Measure along the outseam of the pant from the top of the waistband vertically to the floor. Then reduce 2 cm for normal and 3 cm for short.
